Trainee Drillers - Site Investigation

Emerson Moore Geosciences is a site investigation and drilling company specialising in providing rotary drilling services for the construction industry, based in the Bristol / Bath area. We currently require junior personnel to assist on borehole drilling projects based out of Bristol but operating throughout the UK and overseas. Full training will be given under the supervision of our lead driller with expenses and accommodation provided when away on site.

Candidates should be physically fit, hardworking and enthusiastic, prepared to travel and with mechanical aptitude being an advantage. Occasional weekend and night working will be required. A full, UK driving licence is essential, preferably with Class C1 plus E.

Pay will be commensurate to experience. In addition Emerson Moore operates a training scheme with excellent prospects for advancement.

Freelance Geotechnical / Geo-environmental Engineers

We often require freelance engineers to staff projects both in the UK and overseas. We would like to hear from any competent and experienced freelance personnel who would be interested in working on these projects. Please forward cv's with full contact details

Experienced Wireline Drillers

Drillers with experience of wireline mineral drilling are required for ongoing exploration contracts in Africa, Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. Experience should include mechanical skills as well as extensive experience of wireline drilling in a variety of terrains. The positions are generally fly-in fly-out based in exploration camps with often basic conditions. Excellent terms for experienced drillers.

Experieced Rotary Driller - Site Investigation

An experienced lead driller is required to operate Commachio and Kneebil drill rigs. Extensive experience of high quality site investigation drilling is required including coring in difficult ground conditions with a variety of techniques. NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling is required. Excellent opportunity for the right person working in a small high quality team with possibility of international travel if desired.

Freelance Wireline Drillers

Freelance wireline drillers are often required to assist on exploration projects in Africa, Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. Interested experienced drillers with a good track record in wireline coring should forward cv's.
